Legs, Hips and Body-ody: Achieving an Active Lifestyle
LEGS, HIPS, BODY-BODYYY 🧘🏾♀️🧘🏿♀️🧘🏿
We’re excited to be hosting another live HIHH Community Conversation with Dr. Kristamarie Collman. We will be talking about regular physical activity and it’s impact on our health – and we will be taking the conversation to the yoga mat for a community yoga flow! 🧘🏽♀️🧘🏽🧘🏾
Regular physical activity can help prevent poor health and promote wellness. However, only one-third of Black women meet the national recommendation of 150 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous exercise per week. While Black women recognize the need to exercise, many interventions are ineffective and unsustainable.
How can we go about changing this in our day-to-day lives? What can we do as individuals and as a community? Let’s chat about it!
