Check Your Bumps for Lumps: A Discussion on Breast Cancer
Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death for women in the U.S. It is the most commonly diagnosed cancer for women all over the world. African American women face both disproportionate exposure to breast carcinogens and the highest risk of serious health impacts from the disease. This event will help increase the awareness about Breast Cancer, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and care.
We are featuring Fight Through Flights, Inc. They are aiming to empower and support the healing of Black women living with breast cancer and breast cancer survivors by providing free wellness retreats and travel experiences as well as mental health, nutrition and fitness resources.
