- You will be matched to a Virtual Care Squad facilitator
- You will be grouped with other women to form your Virtual Care Squad
- You will be notified about which Care Squad you belong to within a few weeks
- Virtual Care Squad begins!!!
This is open to Black women or women of color ages 18 or over who are residents of Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis, and surrounding areas.
Overview
Health in Her HUE is partnering with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota to serve 200 Black women and women of color in Brooklyn Center, Brooklyn Park, Minneapolis and surrounding areas to gain premium access to the Health in Her HUE platform at no cost to them. Women will also be able to sign up for the Mental Health and Wellness Virtual Care Squad.
What is Virtual Care Squad?
Virtual care squads are peer support groups that are focused on a specific health topic and led by a Health in Her HUE facilitator. They bring together a peer-support community and curriculum that has been developed by a clinician for intimate, and informative conversations that occur twice a month, virtually, for four months.
